If you spend long hours at a desk — running a business, writing, trading, or working from home — your office is where your day really happens. A-BED lets that office do one more thing: give you a place to lie down, stretch out and take a real break without leaving the room.
The problem with long desk days
Hours of sitting are hard on the body. Most of us know we should take breaks, stretch and move, but when work is busy, breaks are the first thing to go. Leaving the office for a rest often means losing focus — so we skip it.
A wardrobe by day, a recovery spot on demand
A-BED looks like a handsome double-door cabinet — with bookshelves if you like — that fits naturally into a study or executive office. When you need a pause, press the remote: the bed lowers automatically. When the break is over, press again and the office is back to business.
- No lifting — the bed opens and closes with a remote control.
- No extra room needed — it lives inside the wardrobe.
- Looks like office furniture — clients and colleagues see a cabinet, not a bed.
Built-in tilt and traction
What makes A-BED different from an ordinary wall bed is its anti-gravity tilt and built-in traction device. You can make short, regular sessions part of your working day — right next to your desk, at the moment that suits you, instead of waiting until evening.
Optional upgrades let you tailor the routine: a massage mattress, a memory foam pillow, a custom Glisson loop, an additional arm support or a lumbar extension device.
A-BED is furniture, not a medical device. If you have back or neck problems, or plan to use traction for a health reason, consult your doctor before use.
Also a guest bed and a late-night bed
A long project, an early flight, a visiting partner or relative — with A-BED your office doubles as a comfortable bedroom when you need one.
Designed for your office
We build A-BED in Los Angeles and can match your office furniture: wood and color, paneled or flat doors, shelves and cabinets on the sides, and the size of your wall. The basic model is a Twin bed in a 94.75 × 75 × 24.5 in wardrobe, runs on a regular 110V outlet and comes with two remote controls. Production takes about two months for the basic model.
